If you are using Ordinacia veterinary software please download proper VitalFox version from your administration area according to your Ordinacia version. VitalFox OR works great with newer version of Ordinacia and VitalFox OR lite works great with older Ordinacia version. If you need assistance please contact us and we advise you the right version. (You can find pictures of Ordinacia software bellow.)

You can use these tags in your patient’s tab in field Poznámka (newer Ordinacie version - VitalFox OR) or in PM (older Ordinacia version - VitalFox OR lite):
vak 1.1.2012   /next vaccination date/
revak 1.1.2012   /next short-term re-vaccination date, e.g. primary vaccination/
obj 1.1.2012 12:15 Abcdef  /for scheduled appointments, you can use text behind time as a notice – it will be automatically inserted into message/
odc 1.1.2012   /next deworming date/

VitalFox is able to automatically detect dates such as 1.1.2012 as well as with leading zeros 01.01.2012. It’s up to you which date’s form will you use.

If something went wrong and animal died simply add + (plus) sign behind his name and we won’t send messages for this patient.

As you can see VitalFox marketing and reminder service can be tailored for every veterinary management software, for commercial and non-commercial use as well. Custom tailoring is our standard feature. Do you have custom tailored veterinary practice management software?

This way you can check every SMS and email message in your settings and see if everything in your message content is ok (and you can correct your settings then). I hope it helps you.

If something went wrong and animal died – we advise you to fill this date in patient’s tab in your software or mark it as “Excluded”. In case of some owner doesn’t wish to receive messages please tick field “Don’t include in vaccination list” in patient’s vaccination tab.

Open “SMS Settings” in your account and setup Christmas messages for your clients. This function is totally FREE for all of our customers.

It is so intuitive:
-> Firstly setup your own text with personalization elements (@name is client’s name) in your user account “SMS Settings” – “Christmas wishes 2011 and New Year” then save it (you can use predefined system text instead of your own it is up to you – this system text will be used when you are using standard system text for other messages).
-> Now go to “Downloads” download and run once file vitalfox_vianoce2011.exe (save it in your default installation folder and then run).
-> Done!

VitalFox will send automatically on Christmas day your wishes to your clients (*) but not to clients marked as “Discard”, “Inactive” alebo “Deleted”. Note.: When you run file you will see how many clients will obtain wish and approx.price (one SMS is 160 chars but you can use long SMS up to 459 characters). We advice to top-up credit on your accout before sending SMS. This file run once and then close it.

(*) Because of great interest we prolonged sending between 24th, Dec.2011 to 5th January 2012.

What do I need to do so my clients can get reminder message?

Just few clicks as usual:

Log in to your accout and click on SMS Settings, use your own text and activate this feature.

Please update your local VitalFox software if you have version lower as 1.1.0:
-> close VitalFox software
-> go to “Downloads” (in your account http://www.vitalfox.com/admin) and save updated version from admin area to your installation directory vitalfox.exe (usually C:\Program Files\VitalFox\ – and rewrite old file)
-> Done! Run VitalFox.exe and you are done! :-)

Second way how to do the same is to download the latest installation file and run installation and overwrite old version .

@name – insert owner’s /client’s name
@time – insert time of appointment (if available) in format HH:MM, example 9:15
@notice – insert notice of appointment (if available) / first 255 characters from notice field of your veterinary management software

You can of course set your own text in all messages if you do not wish to use predefined texts. Use personalization and all elements such as owner’s name, pet’s name, etc.
